The chapter before this one
Twenty years of Divine Xpectations.
For more than twenty years I planned and designed events — weddings, milestone birthdays, showers, corporate gatherings, and themed parties people still bring up at family functions. Roaring Twenties. Prom send-offs. Anniversary celebrations. If it needed a tablescape, a backdrop, custom favors, or an entire world built in somebody’s backyard, I built it.
I’m not taking bookings anymore. I closed that chapter on purpose, to open this one.
But this page stays, because it explains something a bio can’t. Twenty years of event design is twenty years of budgets, vendors, impossible timelines, and other people’s most important days. It’s where I learned that taste is a skill and not a personality trait — and that the distance between “nice” and “unforgettable” is almost always sitting in the details nobody thought to plan.
That’s the same eye I bring to a room, a brand, or a website now.

I’m not the one anymore, but I spent two decades in this industry and I know who’s good. Reach out and I’ll make an introduction to someone I’d trust with my own family’s event.
