Meet Donita
In 2024, I left a 27-year career to bet on myself.
For nearly three decades I worked in technology — the last fifteen of them at Northwestern University. Good job. Steady paycheck. The kind of career you’re not supposed to walk away from.
I walked away from it.
Not because it went badly. Because I’d spent too long being the woman who held everything together while quietly wondering what I could build if I ever put myself first. So I found out.
This is where I share what that actually looks like — the confidence, the style, the business lessons, and the soft life I fought hard for.
